We had a wonderful time and both Hannah and Morag
autographed lots of their novels! This is the same
Barnes and Noble that will be hosting my launch for

My friend and publicist, LeeAnn Lessard,
President of Lessard Public Relations and I tour
Gatineau Park and the lovely Mackenzie King Estate. It
was a glorious autumn day, perfect for enjoying the
changing color of the leaves.
It was a good thing we were wearing our
sneakers, because we took advantage of the beautiful
autumn day and took the Water Fall Path to the end. The
view was stunning!

breathtaking and the conference was both enjoyable and
informative. It was at this event that I pitched my
novel to Jake Druga-Marchetti of LBF Books.
I couldn’t have done it without my best gal LeeAnn, who
supported me every step of the way and even arranged for
the pitch to take place! The same holds true with
Brenda, who helped me prepare my pitch and listened
patiently while I practiced in our hotel room. These are
some wonderful women!

the summer of 2007, The Romance Writers of America will
again hold their national conference in Dallas and where
will we visit? South Fork, of course. Can’t get enough
Ewing hospitality!
